Ang Mo Kio Presbyterain Church

All about Ang Mo Kio Presbyterian Church
Ang Mo Kio Presbyterian Church was inaugurated as a full congregation on 15 January 2005. However, their roots stretch all the way from Jubilee Presbyterian Church (JPC) in 1970s. From JPC, they branched out as Covenant Presbyterian Church (CPC) which is today in Race Course Road. CPC took on the challenge to plant a daughter church in Presbyterian High School in 1991 to witness and provide pastoral care to Presbyterian High School.

The church believes that theirs is a story of God’s calling and blessings over the many years. The calling was to provide chaplaincy to the school and set up a church for the students.

When the call was given to start an English Congregation at the Presbyterian High School, and Covenant responded by sending their vibrant youths and young adults to be the pioneers and church planters.

On 11 August 1991, the pioneering team of 7 members, led by Preacher Kwek Chee Hian, together with about 40 members from Covenant, had our first worship service in the school hall.

The church's mission statement is "To Worship God, Care for One Another, Make Disciples in PHS & Our Communities, and Serve in Missions."

The church's vision is to be a "vibrant church growing, and influencing others towards Christlikeness."

The 6 pillars that the church stands by are:
1)   Clear Biblical Teaching
2)   Inspiring Worship
